ClientSync outperforms unsupported network-based installations of Notes.

Network installs of Notes can drag down user productivity
Some of the same reasons that drove organizations to implement login and logout scripts have also driven some organizations to run their Notes user environment from their network. There are some serious flaws with this practice. First, IBM does not support network-based installations of Notes. Secondly, network installs can degrade the user experience and possibly result in an increase of calls to the help desk for support.

ClientSync improves user performance with no network latency
ClientSync alleviates the support issues that administrators face and the performance problems users experience from accessing their personal Notes configuration files directly from a network server. ClientSync relies on transmitting and synchronizing small ZIP archive files across the network and only when a user logs in or out of Notes. This is a supported configuration and a much more productive one as well.
