Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Implementation Consultant
Our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central – RealSTEEL™ team is growing!
Wolcott Group a well-established Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Partner, with a twenty plus year history of providing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions to clients in many industries. Wolcott Group worked together with industry leaders to develop RealSTEEL™ software for the metals industry Steel & Metal Fabrication Software | RealSTEEL Software. As a member of the Wolcott Group/RealSTEEL™ team, you will play a lead role in implementing Dynamics Business Central (BC) and our RealSTEEL™ certified vertical solution.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead Implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and our ISV solution, RealSTEEL™ client projects
- Installation, training, upgrading, configuration, support, and documentation of 365 Business Central and RealSTEEL™
- Build and maintain client relationships throughout consulting engagements, ensuring client satisfaction
- Ability to work closely with technical staff to define and document user requirements and functional specifications
- Ability to provide post-implementation support
- Provide onsite and offsite consulting services and support to Dynamics 365 Business Central/RealSTEEL™ clients
- Manage and consistently meet client expectations within the scope of the project role
- Manage the conversion and implementation process from third-party products
- Ensure the clients’ accounting staff members are maximizing the potential of the solutions
- Train client staff in effective use of the software
- Create documentation as needed for clients
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or related industry experience
- 2+ years Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central/NAV implementation experience
- Experience in a consulting environment a plus
- Experience with 365 Business Central/NAV Accounting (version 2013 or higher) a plus
- Very good knowledge of accounting processes related to the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Financial Reporting.
- General Knowledge of Microsoft Technologies (MS SQL Server, MS .NET, MS SharePoint, MS Business Intelligence)
- Ability to translate experience in distribution or manufacturing environments to creatively solve client business/application issues
- Experience with modeling business process and translating requirements into a business application
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to quality, self-motivation, and a desire to succeed
- Possess a professional presence suitable for direct client interaction by telephone or in-person
While this position is mostly executed remotely, there is still a requirement for Travel up to 25%
